Welcome to my Website
Angelique van Os, born in September 1985 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is the mother of four children: three boys and one girl. In 2018, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and since then, she has been fighting the disease by getting more out of life than she did before. She started her own business in facility services as a self-employed entrepreneur. With the thought, "I am stronger than MS; this is my body, and I decide whether I am sick or not." She worked with young clients with children, elderly people who needed extra help, and at a guest house for disabled children. This work inspired her to work in healthcare. She applied for a job in healthcare but had to keep quiet about her multiple sclerosis because she was afraid she might not be hired otherwise. Eventually, she was offered a job with training to become a nurse, which she started in 2022. She began working in a nursing home for elderly people with dementia. She enjoys working with this target group, rewarding and giving these elderly people a pleasant day. The only things she misses in her work are the grandchildren or great-grandchildren. Most elderly people love children, and as soon as you talk about them, you see twinkling eyes and big smiles. For children's awareness, she writes books. She hopes that this will lead to more children visiting their beloved grandparents. To date, her health is good, and she hopes it stays that way for a long time.
Writing is like driving at night in the fog. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make
the whole trip that way.
